What are the benefits of IV Nutrient Therapy?

Many of us are chronically dehydrated and nutrient deficient. This can be the result of busy lifestyles, depleted soils, dietary factors, gastrointestinal issues, high performance athletics, and high stress levels among others. When we eat and drink, nutrients must be broken down and taken in through our digestive tract. In optimal circumstances, this translates to only approximately 20 to 30 percent absorption. Through direct intravenous infusion of hydration, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants into the bloodstream you receive the benefit of bypassing the digestive system and obtaining 100 percent absorption. Most individuals report feeling a boost in energy and wellness within 90 minutes of their infusion as they are fully hydrated and profiting from the direct nutritional enhancement.

Are there any side effects?
Most commonly, infusion recipients might experience mild bruising and pain at the IV site. Some individuals may experience lightheadedness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and nausea. This most commonly happens at the beginning of your infusion. If these occur, your therapy can be administered more slowly to allow your body to acclimate to the nutrients, or stopped for a time and then restarted. Extremely rare complications include infection, infiltration, fainting, air embolism, and hematoma.
